By car,
There are many cross-Channel services from the UK and Ireland, as well as the rail Shuttle through the Channel Tunnel.
When arriving from the north of France (Calais), you take the motorway to Boulogne, Abbeville, Le Havre, Caen and Rennes.
Driving on the motorway Rennes – Laval – Le Mans – Paris you take Exit Etrelles/La Guerche de Bretagne (D 178). Drive direction Etrelles/La Guerche and go straight on at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout you go right, direction Torcé (D 33). After about 3 km you turn left direction Domalain (D 108). Take the second road left and go straight on : bienvenue au Château des Tesnières !

By rail,
Eurostar runs via the Channel Tunnel between London (Waterloo) and Paris (Gare du Nord) in 3 hrs.
After arrival you’ll have to go (by underground) to Gare Montparnasse where there are TGV (high speed rail network) departures to Rennes (2 hrs).

The closest airport is about 40 km. There are direct flights between Rennes and Manchester and Southampton.
